We are having a blast watching our caterpillars change into butterflies. We have been recording them for 2 1/2 weeks until finally this morning one "popped" out. We also witnessed one come out of it's cocoon today. It was really an experience. In all my teaching career, I have never been able to see one. It was really cool!
One of the butterflies landed upside down and it crawled onto my hand. The kids saw the wings dry and I had color on my hand. See the video below.
