Happy Valentine's Day Kindergarten & Our Stem lesson

We had a blast celebrating Valentine's Day.

Reading a Valentine book to Friends and made Splat the Cat cards to give to our special friend or teacher.:)

We enjoyed a STEM activity. 

 The objective was to build a house using toothpicks and DOTS candy that the wolf(hair dryer) couldn't blow down our house.  Many of the pigs houses did not get blown down.  We are great house builders in Kindergarten.

 We designed our houses and then tested them.  Then, we wrote/drew if they did not did not get blown down.

 We play sight word Candy Land.

We play Hang Man

 Sight Word Cootie Catchers.

 Also, we play Left, Right, Center.

We all enjoy playing the many different games during center time to be Sight Word Kings or Queens by learning ALL 220 sight words.  Next step......to learn all 600 words.
