Our Pete the Cat Winter Party

We had a great party this year.  Pete the Cat was our Theme for our Party.

 We watched a slide show of our Christmas pictures, ate goodies, played "Pass the Present and Pass the Books".  Oh yes, and our class elf brought us letters from Santa.

 We played Pass the Present for our Book Exchange.  We had a blast!

We had 2 visitors that came to teach us about different holiday traditions we celebrate in America.  

Thanksgiving

We had a BLAST wearing our Turkey hats to "write the room".  Check out our fun adventures during November!

 Due to the flu hitting our school, we only had 9 students out of 22 present the day before our Thanksgiving holiday.  We had fun making Turkey hats, turkeys and playing with our MANY Pete the Cats in our classroom:)))

Our Family enjoyed a small trip to Alabama.  We went to my sister's cabin, shopped and rode 4-wheelers.  What FUN!!!

Celebrating Senior Night

It is hard to believe my oldest is a Senior at AHS.  We celebrated Senior Night Friday night.  Elizabeth is on the colorguard squad and is a captain.

Hightower Family Fall Fun

 Frozen on Ice during the Columbus Day break.  It was fun but cold!
